Learning to code is about more than just becoming a developer. It enables children to be creative with technology and opens up a whole new world for them. If you're passionate about inspiring the next generation of changemakers, then a job at Code Camp is Code Camp right for you!
We are looking for committed, motivated students or pupils (aged 16 and above) who are interested in teaching children how to code. You don't need any prior knowledge—we provide excellent training and a ready-made program.

Whether you're a head teacher or an assistant teacher, every time you look into the bright eyes of a young programmer, you'll realize that you can make a difference.

- Enjoy working with children and have an enthusiastic, positive attitude. Sense of responsibility,
team spirit, empathy, and common sense.
- Very good knowledge of German or Swiss German for camps in German-speaking Switzerland or
very good knowledge of French for camps in French-speaking Switzerland (fluent spoken, good understanding).
- Reliability and willingness to lead or support at least 5 camps per year.
- Assignments mainly during school holidays, occasionally also during the year (Wednesday afternoons/Saturdays).
- Minimum workload: 5 camps per year (approx. 15 working days), more is possible at any time.
- Together with the assistant teachers, you will prepare the camp location and set everything up safely and practically.
- You will teach classes for up to approx. 25 children and keep your group motivated and on track.
- You will provide the team of assistant teachers with clear structure and tasks.
- In smaller camps, you will also be responsible for checking the children in and out and communicating with parents and the back office.
- You will assist the Head Teacher/Camp Manager in teaching and organizing the camps.
- Dynamic environment with a motivated team and children's eyes shining at every camp.
- You will gain valuable experience in education, teamwork, and responsibility—ideal for future job applications or studies.
- You will improve your presentation and communication skills by regularly standing in front of groups and explaining content.
- You will learn about modern technologies and coding concepts (or deepen your knowledge of them) while teaching them to children.
