Age: 8 - 14

Days: 3

You will build an exciting AR game using JavaScript, the language of the web.

Find a camp near you
To play the game at home, you need an iPad, tablet or mobile phone with camera function. Place the CodeCamp AR marker on a flat surface, point the camera at it and off you go!
Given the amount of writing involved, this camp is recommended for children who feel confident using a keyboard.

What is Augmented Reality (AR)?

Augmented reality (AR) is the integration of digital information with the user's actual environment, as is already used today for many things, from catching Pokémon to applications in the security and health sectors.

Learn the basics of AR

We are not saying that your children will be fully trained AR experts by the end of the camp, but they will be well on their way!

Use pure JavaScript

What do Facebook, Google and YouTube have in common? They are all built on JavaScript, the language of the web! Your child uses this technology to build its game.

Get creative

Thinking outside the box is a basic trait that programmers need and a great trait for anyone in itself. This camp teaches your child to be creative and to solve problems.
